Wutai Mountain is renowned as a famous Buddhist holy site, echoing with morning bells and evening drums, surrounded by sacred chants. However, due to the rampant invasion by Japanese aggressors, this originally serene Buddhist sanctuary is no longer peaceful. In the Qingping Monastery of Wutai Mountain, a group of nuns, represented by Yang Paifeng (played by Li Caihua), formed a female soldier unit at a critical moment for the survival of the nation. Relying on their respective skills, they made a righteous choice of "not forgetting patriotism while renouncing the world, exterminating the Japanese aggressors, and punishing evil while promoting good." The female soldier unit instructor, Zhang Honglie (played by Zhang Weijian), with the duty of protecting treasures, led the nuns in their fight against the Japanese aggressors while enduring brutal treatment in the Qingping Monastery, writing an inspiring and moving legend.
