No one could have imagined that the sweet-looking and quirky Villanelle (Jodie Comer) is actually a top assassin. Unlike her cold, ruthless, and humorless peers, she is eccentric and even somewhat paranoid and childish, often displaying a cat-and-mouse desire to toy with her prey. However, during a prior mission, Villanelle accidentally left a witness alive, forcing her to return and finish the job, which leads her to meet police officer Eve (Sandra Oh). Eve is plain-looking and unkempt, yet for some reason, she captures Villanelle's interest. In a series of cat-and-mouse encounters, both women gradually become attracted to each other, and the cop-and-robber game becomes tense and entertaining...
