BBC Two has confirmed the production of the comedy "Upstart Crow" written by Ben Elton, which mainly tells the life story of William Shakespeare and will be broadcast as part of BBC's Shakespeare Memorial Festival in 2016. David Mitchell will play the young Shakespeare; also starring are Harry Enfield, Paula Wilcox, Liza Tarbuck, and Gemma Whelan.
