ITV has renewed the true crime series "Manhunt" for a second season, titled "Manhunt: The Night Stalker," which will also consist of 4 episodes. Martin Clunes returns to play Senior Investigator Colin Sutton. The first season's writer Ed Whitmore continues to be responsible for the script. The story is based on Colin Sutton's logs and true events, depicting the police hunt for a notorious serial rapist whose 17 years of criminal activity left thousands of elderly residents in southeast London living in fear.
