Jonathan (Tom Hiddleston) was once a soldier fighting on the front lines in Iraq. After retiring, he took a job as a night manager in a luxurious hotel. One day, Jonathan encountered a beautiful woman named Sophie (Aure Atika) at the hotel and fell in love at first sight. However, Sophie is the mistress of an arms smuggler and secretly handed Jonathan a confidential document related to Richard (Hugh Laurie), a kingpin in the UK's arms black market, before she met her untimely death. Later, Jonathan moved to work in a hotel in Zermatt, Switzerland, where he met British intelligence officer Angela (Olivia Colman), who extended an olive branch to Jonathan, hoping he could assist her in investigating arms trades and secret intelligence in the black market.
