Due to a letter found in a stranger's wallet, a rural youth named Ren Tsuneda (played by Kengo Kora), who works at a moving company in Tokyo, drives thousands of miles to Hokkaido and brings the despondent girl, Ne Haneda (played by Kasumi Arimura), back to Tokyo. In the bustling crowd, the two miss each other in just a moment.
