The Tsuboi family, living in Tokyo, leads a simple yet interesting life. The male protagonist, Ryota (played by Hiroshi Abe), is a good-natured advertising producer who, despite being in management, is not respected by his subordinates. His wife, Sakae (played by Tomoko Yamuguchi), is a popular food designer, busy with work and has no time to spare. Their only daughter, Moe (played by Ayame Makita), has a quirky personality and claims to have a sixth sense, often causing trouble at school. One day, Ryota's estranged father, Eiko (played by Isamu Nakae), falls ill on his way to Nagano. Ryota coincidentally sees a mysterious woman, Naiho (played by Aoi Miyazaki), visiting him in the hospital, prompting suspicion from his mother, Toshiko (played by Kazuko Yoshiyuki), and sister, Daki (played by YOU). Following this, the unwelcome Ryota applies for paid leave and takes the suspended Moe to Nagano to uncover Naiho's identity and search for the legendary forest dwarf, Kuna. The journey filled with surprises and comfort leads to the unknowing repair of many lost emotions and memories...
