Ying Jia (Hana Lewis) was born into a family that was not wealthy. In order to repay the huge debts owed by her family, they tried to coerce Ying Jia into marrying a very rich old man through deceitful means. With a strong personality, Ying Jia refused to let fate play tricks on her and decided to run away.
