Intern doctor Makoto Sugano, recommended by her respected internist Professor Tsukuba, comes to intern in the forensic medicine department. Makoto enters a teaching building enveloped in a strange atmosphere and meets forensic professor Tojiro Mitsuzaki. After a few brief words, however, Tojiro leaves her behind and walks away.
