PBS has announced the renewal of "Sanditon" for Seasons 2 and 3. Justin Young ("Death in Paradise") serves as the head writer and executive producer, while Charles Sturridge ("After the Storm") is the principal director. The series is based on the unfinished novel of the same name by Jane Austen and stars Rose Williams and Theo James. It tells the story of a young country girl, Charlotte, who meets a witty and enterprising man, Sidney, who attempts to transform the sleepy village into a holiday resort; the villagers' fortunes depend on the success of this development plan.
