This drama is adapted from the autobiography "Legend of a Shandong Youth" by Taiwanese lawyer Gao Binghan. In the year of the Chinese Civil War, 12-year-old lawyer Gao Binghan followed his mother's strict advice and settled in Taiwan with the Nationalist Army. Over the past 80 years, he has encountered two difficult cases involving three mothers: Hong Mama, who tolerates her son's violence; Jiang Meien, an indigenous daughter-in-law who is not acknowledged by her out-of-province father-in-law; and Xie Shuyuan, who appears elegant but is actually repressed.
