This drama tells the story of Tsukigawa Natsu, who was in a relationship with her classmate Nagumo Mizuki during university. However, one day while job hunting, Mizuki suddenly proposes a breakup. Seven years later, Natsu learns from a university friend that Mizuki has passed away. Having never seen her again since the breakup and feeling detached from that fact, Natsu attends the funeral, where he meets a little girl named Umi, discovering that she is Mizuki's daughter, much to his surprise. Mizuki's mother then informs him that he is Umi's father. Unbeknownst to Natsu, Mizuki had a child in silence and raised her without telling him anything, leaving Natsu to reflect on the seven years that Mizuki and Umi spent together...
