In a fantastical fairytale world, elementary school student Mizuko Shizukuishi (played by Riao Suzuki) lives in a messy household of five. Her mother Riko (played by Masumi Nomura), a manga artist, is busy working every day, while her sister, who is determined to marry into a wealthy family, and her two completely clueless younger siblings cause chaos everywhere. Mizuko can only take on the role of a full-time housewife, taking care of the family's daily needs. In her ballet class, there is a noble girl, Natsuko Hebukuma (played by Mairu Kiuchi), whose five handsome brothers make Mizuko envious. She learns from her classmate Yotsuba Mitarai that there is a gachapon machine in a game center that can win brothers. Occasionally wishing to be pampered, Mizuko is skeptical but uses her last 500 yen to turn out a capsule.
