In a Japanese restaurant under the night sky, the current Prime Minister Ichirō Ato (played by Fumiyo Kohinata) and his secretary Seiji Koga (played by Kenichi Takito) are discussing important matters with a certain big shot. However, the other party is in a bad mood and has no appetite. Just as the atmosphere becomes tense, a temp waitress, Kurumi Ichiki (played by Ayame Gouriki), brings a small dish, lightening the mood immediately. Koga notices this detail and decides to bring back Ichiki, who had already been dismissed. It turns out that both he and the Prime Minister recognize the importance of culinary politics, leading to the revival of the long-vacant position of "official residence chef," missing for seventy years since Shigeru Yoshida. With no other options, Kurumi reluctantly accepts their proposal. Can she use her exceptional cooking skills to carve out a niche for herself in a male-dominated world? This film is based on the manga by Mitsuru Nishimura and Mitsuru Osaki.
