In the late 1970s, two families, the Zhuangs and the Lins, lived in a small alley in the Suzhou cotton textile factory housing area. During the restoration of the college entrance examination, Zhuo Chaoying, a teacher, and his wife Huang Ling regarded their children's exams as the family's top priority. Their neighbors, Lin Wufeng and Song Ying, influenced by them, also began to pay attention to their son's studies.
