This drama is adapted from the "Lunch Detective" series by author Mizushima Taiyo. In the series, Mizuki plays the role of Amano Yuka, a reasoning enthusiast who is poor at socializing but possesses excellent observational skills, and transforms when faced with mysteries. For this role, she cut her hair by 35cm and appears with a short hairstyle. Yuka will use her natural deductive abilities to tackle ghost stories circulating in the company and the whereabouts of missing persons around her. Moreover, Yuka’s partner at the lunch networking event is the fresh-faced, carnivorous woman Akuzumi Reiko, played by Reina, who dislikes receiving favors from men. Yuka and Reiko's company boss, Kamida Hiroshi, is played by Kimura Yuichi, and the well-liked and capable employee Sakurai Kento is portrayed by Seto Riku.
