The Tsuboi family living in Tokyo leads a simple yet interesting life. The male protagonist, Ryota (played by Hiroshi Abe), is a nice guy who works as an advertising producer; despite being in management, he is not respected by his subordinates. His wife, Sakae (played by Tomoko Yamaguchi), is a popular food designer, busy with work and rarely has free time. Their only daughter, Moe (played by Ayaka Tsuji), has a peculiar temperament and claims to have a sixth sense, often causing trouble at school. One day, Ryota’s estranged father, Eiko (played by Isamu Naya), falls ill while traveling to Nagano. Ryota happens to see a mysterious woman, Naiho (played by Aoi Miyazaki), visiting his father in the hospital, leading to suspicions from his mother, Toshiko (played by Kazuko Yoshiyuki), and sister, Toki (played by YOU). Subsequently, the often-overlooked Ryota applies for paid leave and embarks on a journey to Nagano with the suspended Moe to uncover Naiho's identity and the legendary forest dwarf, Kuna. The search is filled with surprises and comfort, as many lost feelings and memories are unexpectedly mended...
