Xiao Changqing, Sun Qiancheng, and Chen Xincheng, three old friends and colleagues, worked hard their entire lives and, after retirement, jointly established a warm retirement community. The process of setting up the retirement community was not smooth sailing; each of the old guys faced their own problems. Sun Qiancheng and Xia Mingzhu were at odds because of their daughter's unfortunate marriage; Chen Xincheng couldn’t let go of his glorious past and clashed with his rebellious son who was chasing dreams; Xiao Changqing lost his spouse early and single-handedly managed the livelihood of a big family, always with endless worries. The elderly residents who moved into the community brought various troubles. Amid the endless issues, the three old guys always managed to find solutions. They worked together to help Aunt Niu recover her scammed house, assisted Engineer Xu in moving into the retirement center to regain the dignity of an intellectual, and helped Aunt Xu resolve family disputes, among others. The retirement center gradually began to operate amidst various difficulties.
