The film is based on the true story of Francesca Cabrini (played by Cristiana Dell'Anna) fighting for equality and happiness. In the late 18th century, after Italian nun Cabrini arrived in New York, she discovered that local immigrant groups suffered from government oppression, church indifference, and social prejudice. As a result, Cabrini decided to dedicate herself to helping these marginalized communities, vowing to instill hope in everyone. In addition to fighting against local government and religious orders, Cabrini also had to face discrimination from the upper class of society. Despite the numerous daunting challenges, she never lost heart, and with courage and resilience, she overcame difficulties time and time again, changing the world.
