This drama is adapted from the novel of the same name by Kazuma Sakurazawa. It tells the story of a high school student at Seichu Academy, Akihisa Hiroshige, commonly known as Q. He is an excellent student with good character who confronts death following the Sarin gas incident in the subway. During a moment of turmoil, he is forcefully invited by classmate Shōtarō Suzuki to join a team and becomes friends with them, living each day filled with excitement. It is a story of resistance against the societal structure established by adults, as he protects what is important while navigating the lives of high school students in Shibuya in 1995.
