Adapted from the manga of the same name by Harubara Negi, the story narrates the events of 13 years ago when a monster army invaded Earth. The monsters face off against the Dragon Guardian team, who protect the Earth. Although they engage in battles almost every week, the truth is not as it appears. In fact, the monsters were defeated within a year, yet the Guardians forced them to stage fake fights in front of many citizens who worship the Dragon team. Tired of the humiliation, the monsters decide to make a change and infiltrate the team to take them down from within.
