The drama is adapted from Shion Miura's novel "The Bookmark." The story follows magazine editor Midori Kashibe, whose popular fashion magazine is abruptly discontinued, leading her to be reassigned to the dictionary editing department. Ikeda plays Kashibe, who gradually finds pride and value in compiling the dictionary, while Noda plays Mitsuru Matsubi, the dedicated head of the dictionary editing department who has a deep love for books. The original work centers on Matsubi, but this drama depicts the struggles of the editorial team in compiling the "Great Ocean Dictionary" from Kashibe's perspective.
