Fearless Rio (played by Alice Taglioni) prides herself on being "the best cop on the French Riviera." After hearing that her colleague Lu, who is like a brother to her, has been murdered in Hamburg, she is determined to uncover the truth. However, her boss (played by Noémie Lovowski) has other ideas, insisting that the case be handed over to a German super cop. Rio is not about to let a "beautiful exterior with a rotten core" handle the investigation, especially when she learns that this cop is the charming yet over-trained Mélanie (played by Stéfi Selma). These two hot-headed but conflicting characters are forced to establish an unstable partnership, unaware that the city of Nice is facing an imminent threat, and that their relationship is closer than they could have imagined.
