This drama tells the story of Tsukioka Natsu, who was in a relationship with her classmate Nagumo Mizuki during university. However, one day, Mizuki suddenly proposes to break up while job hunting. Seven years later, Natsu learns from a university friend that Mizuki has passed away. After never seeing each other again since their breakup and feeling detached from that fact, Natsu attends the funeral, where he meets a little girl named Umi, discovering that she is Mizuki's daughter, which leaves him in shock.
