The film is based on true events. Once, Won-kwang (played by Park Hee-soon) was a renowned football athlete, but a failed investment left his life in turmoil. Disheartened, Won-kwang traveled thousands of miles to East Timor, hoping to open a café and make a fortune to heal his wounded heart. However, lacking business acumen, he faced failure once again. Would he really have to return home defeated and empty-handed? Before leaving, Won-kwang discovered a group of local children playing football barefoot, which sparked a new business opportunity for him, leading to the establishment of a football goods store. Even with an installment payment plan, the children still couldn't afford the cost of soccer shoes, and Won-kwang's store was on the verge of closing again. But this time was different; the children's enthusiasm and love for football moved Won-kwang. He decided to form a youth football team and challenge international competitions.
