In Taipei, a boy named Dou Dou (voiced by Zhuang Bowen) has to move to Tainan with his scary-looking Grandma (voiced by Wen Ying) after his father has an accident and his mother needs to handle the aftermath. However, Dou Dou soon discovers that Grandma is actually an exorcist with the power to subdue monsters, and they all fear her. One day, due to Dou Dou's playful nature, a monster (voiced by Xu Jiehui) is released, and it uses Dou Dou to perform acts that harm Grandma in order to enhance its own power. As they spend time together, Dou Dou's feelings towards Grandma change. Whether Grandma can be defeated hangs at the last moment; it all depends on whether Dou Dou can successfully help Grandma overcome the devil at the final hour.
