Joe Manganiello joins the cast of AMC's new sci-fi series "Moonhaven." The cast includes Emma McDonald and Dominic Monaghan. Peter Ocko serves as the writer and executive producer. The show tells the story of Bella Sway (played by McDonald), a lunar cargo pilot and smuggler who is accused of a crime and ends up in Moonhaven, a utopian world built on the moon, spanning 500 square miles, designed to find solutions for the soon-to-end civilization on Earth. As a skeptic of this paradise, Sway becomes involved in a conspiracy to gain control over the AI that is responsible for the miracles of Moonhaven, teaming up with local detective Paul (played by Manganiello) to stop those who threaten Earth's last hope. The show will premiere on AMC next year.
