In Lvteng City, two murder cases occur consecutively, with the victims being female online streamers. The criminals impersonate delivery workers to break in and commit murder, using cruel and bloody methods. Female police officer Tang You (played by Peng Bo) analyzes a series of data and confidently deduces that streamer Sang Nannan is the killer of the other two female streamers. Shortly after, a live-streaming video surfaces showing Sang Nannan bound. After Fang Mu (played by Chen Ruoxuan) appears, he suspects that the murderer is Shen Xiang during his conversation with Sang Nannan. However, before he finishes speaking, he receives news that Shen Xiang has died. Ultimately, Fang Mu identifies the suspect as Shen Xiang's boyfriend, Luo Jiahai, based on clues such as "glasses," "height," and "stains on Shen Xiang." He discovers through Shen Xiang's suicide note and details from Sang Nannan's live stream that the real person suffering from PTSD is Luo Jiahai himself. Director Xing Zhisen's daughter, Xing Na, is bullied at a KTV with her classmates; the manager reports it to extort Xing Na. Later, Xing Na brings in reinforcements in the form of Tai Wei (played by Wang Longzheng), which intimidates the aggressive manager. Eventually, Xing Zhisen gets shot and falls into a coma while trying to save Xing Na, who goes missing. Fang Mu and Tai Wei investigate and uncover a case of human trafficking involving clients seeking surrogacy for their second child. While searching for Xing Na, Fang Mu discovers that this is a series of hypnotic murders committed in the name of justice.
