Recently divorced from his wife, Lucas (played by Mads Mikkelsen) currently works at a daycare. He is kind-hearted and gentle, quickly becoming loved by his colleagues and the children. Among them, a precocious girl named Clara (played by Annika Wedderkopp) is particularly close to Lucas. When faced with the girl's naive affections, Lucas can only gently reject her.
