Shaguluya, a child with the ability of "Yin-Yang Eyes" since birth, suffers persecution from villagers due to the world's misunderstanding of this ability. The relatively fortunate ones are bought by the church with money to fight as holy soldiers, even gaining the title of "Disaster Relief" among the populace. Meanwhile, those with "Yin-Yang Eyes" who toy with human lives become known as "Corpse Gods". During a battle, the Corpse God unexpectedly swaps souls with Shaguluya, losing its memory in the process. After discovering the truth, the Corpse God starts a new life under the identity of Shaguluya, reincarnating in a parallel universe, Shinjuku, where it collaborates with professional killer Misaki and informant Kiki to handle societal trash.
