After collaborating on several suspense series such as "Stay Close," "The Stranger," "The Stranger," and "The Innocent," Netflix renewed its partnership with writer Harlan Coben last October for more projects. Now, this collaboration has added a new series titled "*Fool Me Once*." The series is currently being produced in Manchester and the northwest and stars Richard Armitage, who previously participated in "The Stranger" and "Stay Close," alongside Michelle Keegan from "Our Friends in the North," Joanna Lumley, the lead of "The Unbelievable," among others. The eight-episode series centers around Maya Stern, portrayed by Michelle, who struggles to continue her life after her husband Joe (played by Richard) is brutally murdered. One day, while checking the nanny cameras she installed around her home to monitor her young daughter, Maya discovers a person who was supposed to be dead, leading to a series of events. Meanwhile, her niece Abby and nephew Daniel are also shocked by the murder of their mother that occurred months earlier and are determined to uncover the truth. Are these two tragedies connected? Joanna will play Judith, Joe's protective mother, while Emmett J. Scanlan from "Fall" plays Marty McGreggor, and Adeel Akhtar from "Sherwood" portrays Sami Kierce, the detective handling Joe's case who holds his own secrets.
