One evening, an unexpected visitor, Jun (played by Wang Baoqiang), arrived at the police station and reported to the on-duty officer that he had killed five people. However, he could neither explain his relationship with the victims nor describe how or where they were killed. It turned out he only planned to kill them. After recording Jun's contact address, the officer dismissed him, viewing him merely as a boring, mentally unstable person. Not long after, a murder occurred in the area where Inspector Han (played by Liu Qingyun) was stationed: the victim was found in a terrifying condition. Han believed the method of execution indicated unusual motives. Within a week, Han took over another murder case; the victim was also a man, found dead in an abandoned machine workshop. His death was particularly brutal, as the victim's feet were forcibly fitted with small-sized red high heels, with dozens of nails driven into the tops and sides of his feet. While Han was reviewing suspicious individuals and cases across Hong Kong, he came across the record of Jun's confession that day. Han immediately led a team to search Jun's residence, but the place was empty, containing only a vast collection of old fairy tale books, with nothing suspicious found. However, at this moment, Han was unaware that a meticulously laid trap was unfolding, leading to an outcome that was even more unimaginable and unpredictable.
