Kyouko Hori (voiced by Haruka Tomatsu) is a beautiful, fashion-forward girl who is quite popular at school. However, when she gets home, to take care of her younger brother and to make housework easier, she changes into very unfashionable loungewear. Her mother, who is often away from home, has unintentionally made Kyouko assume the role of a substitute caregiver, but this down-to-earth side of her mustn’t be known to her classmates at school! One day, a tattooed boy with multiple ear piercings knocks on Kyouko's door. Surprised, she finds that this trendy guy is actually Izumi Miyamura (voiced by Kouki Uchiyama), who is usually regarded as a nerd in class. It turns out that Miyamura, like Kyouko, lives a secret double life. Using her younger brother as an excuse, Miyamura starts visiting Kyouko's house frequently, and as they reveal their true selves to each other, the distance between their hearts gradually shortens.
