The classic thriller "The Silence of the Lambs" plans to launch a spinoff series. CBS has ordered a script for the new show "Clarice," which centers on agent Clarice Starling, portrayed by Jodie Foster in the film. It takes place one year after the events of "The Silence of the Lambs" in 1993, as she returns to the front lines to hunt down serial killers and sex offenders while navigating the high-stakes political world of Washington.
