Shin Ha-kyun, Han Ji-min, Lee Jung-in, and Jung Jin-young are confirmed to star in the original TVING drama "Yonder."   The series is adapted from the novel "Good bye, Yonder," set against the backdrop of a South Korean metropolis in the 2040s Ubiquitous environment. The male lead’s wife dies of cancer, and lost in his grief, he suddenly receives an email and decides to abandon his physical body to go to Yonder, a place where he can live with his wife again. "Yonder" refers to a world of immortality, and the drama will explore the truths of eternal life and death, memory and forgetfulness, happiness and unhappiness through Yonder.   Shin Ha-kyun plays a journalist who leads a hollow life after his wife’s death, and by chance receives an email that allows him to see his deceased wife, leading him into confusion.   Han Ji-min plays the role of the male lead's deceased wife, who signs a questionable contract before choosing euthanasia, guiding the male lead into Yonder.   Lee Jung-in portrays the operator who welcomes people to the unknown space of Yonder.   Jung Jin-young plays a brain science expert researching death.   Directed by Lee Jun-ik, known for "The King’s Man," "The King’s Last Will," and "The Fish in the Trap," with scripts written by Kim Jeong-hoon, Oh Seung-hyun, and Kim Seong-cheol, it will premiere next year.
