The interviews continue in the second season. In 2022, vampire Louis de Pointe du Lac (played by Jacob Anderson) recounts his life story to journalist Daniel Molloy (played by Eric Bogosian). After conspiring to kill vampire Lestat de Lioncourt (played by Sam Reid) in 1940, Louis embarks on an adventure across Europe with the novice vampire girl Claudia (played by Delainey Hayles), as they explore the old world of vampires and the vampire theater in Paris. It is in Paris that Louis first encounters vampire Armand (played by Assad Zaman). Their romantic and sexual relationship proves to have devastating consequences in both the past and future, while Molloy seeks to uncover the truths buried in memory.
