This drama is inspired by Jun'ichirō Tanizaki's "The Obsession," telling a revenge story that spans 20 years. It all starts with a meeting in youth when a new neighbor moves in next door to the girl Mayuko. She and the similarly aged Yuki quickly become friends. However, the introverted Mayuko is always overshadowed by the cheerful and uninhibited Yuki, who takes away important things, including a cherished necklace and the most important person in Mayuko's life.
