The lawyer specializing in criminal cases, Daisho Shimoyama (played by Jun Matsumoto), is keen on uncovering the hidden truths in cases using his unique approach. When investigations hit a deadlock, he combines his love for cooking with sorting out clues from the case, using his keen observation and deduction skills to strike at the heart of the matter.
