Ma Ru Long (played by Zheng Dan Rui) is an experienced and sharp-witted inspector. One day, he encounters Julia (played by Guan Zhi Lin), the girl he once had a crush on, at a reunion. Julia is now stunningly beautiful, her charm surpassing what it was before, while their former classmate Ma You You has surprisingly become Julia’s superior, which makes Ma Ru Long feel quite envious. Unexpectedly, that night, Ma You You is assassinated by the assassin Peter (played by Li Bi Te) who was lurking in his home, and Julia is the only witness.
