Iwatani (played by法子 入山) is a journalist whose meticulous logic and efficient style earn her the trust of her superiors, making her a true career woman. However, her overly rigid and unsmiling personality often leads to misunderstandings and even alienation from colleagues and friends. One day, Iwatani has a conflict with her boss, resulting in her being transferred to the unpopular lifestyle information department. At the same time, she discovers that her boyfriend of many years has been cheating on her, causing Iwatani to hit rock bottom in both love and career. One day, Iwatani finds a large cardboard box at her doorstep, and inside sleeps a man. She brings the man home and learns his name is Takehiro Goda (played by Jun Shison).
