In 1960, a Chinese climbing team composed of Fang Wuzhou (played by Wu Jing) and Qu Songlin (played by Zhang Yi) tackled Mount Everest. They overcame numerous challenges, including extreme cold, fierce winds, and avalanches, and finally reached the summit. However, due to an accidental camera damage, Fang Wuzhou and his team could not prove their achievement, leaving a great regret.
