Gal (Ray Winstone) was once a notorious thief in the "business," but now, far from the underworld, he lives a leisurely life with his wife Didi (Amanda Redman) in a mountain villa. Accompanied by his friends Aitch (Cavan Kendall) and Jack (Julianne White), Gal feels that his decision to retire was the right one. A sudden visitor shatters Gal's peaceful life; his name is Don (Ben Kingsley), a former partner of Gal. Don is impulsive and unpredictable, like a ticking time bomb, keeping Gal on edge. The very thing Gal dreaded happens — Don's visit has a purpose: he wants to draw Gal back into crime for a big score — robbing the Bank of England.
