Li Ping (played by Mei Ting) is a female worker at a cigarette factory, dreaming of love. She secretly hides a note inside a cigarette box, and this note brings a man named Wu Tianliang (played by Wang Zhiwen) into Li Ping's life. Naturally, Li Ping and Wu Tianliang get married, but married life is not as beautiful as Li Ping imagined.
