This drama is adapted from the 2014 event where a Chinese medical team went to several countries in West Africa to combat the Ebola outbreak. It tells the story of virologist Zheng Shupeng (played by Luo Jin) and his Chinese medical team suddenly facing a massive outbreak of Ebola in West Africa. With very limited medical resources, they engage in a grueling battle against the virus using their exceptional medical skills. Meanwhile, Chinese investigative reporter He Huan (played by Mao Xiaotong), while conducting undercover research on a diamond smuggling case, delves into West Africa and resonates with the doctors' philosophy of transcending borders in medicine and valuing life, joining the fight against the epidemic.
