At a time of career growth and life struggles, Tian Beilei and Guo Yiming, a young couple working in Beijing, unexpectedly become pregnant with their second child. Both sets of parents rush from their respective homes, with the four elders giving up their lives and careers to support their children and grandchildren as "Bei Piao." Under one roof, two locations, three generations, and seven people play out a bittersweet family emotional story. Determined, Tian Beilei risks it all by quitting her job, finding a new path amidst difficulties; the earnest Guo Yiming bears the dual pressures of family and work, supporting the family as a pillar. Their relationship teeters on the edge of divorce but eventually warms back to each other. The four elders "compete" for love, returning to Beijing twice while each establishing their own lives. A series of real-life issues such as children's promotions, grandchildren's school enrollment, decisions regarding the second child, and the elders' emotions continuously test the main characters. Through their respective persistence and understanding, striving and compromising, separation and reunion, they touch each other’s hearts, and the entire drama celebrates the unified values, demonstrating that as long as family ties endure, genuine feelings remain, and confidence and optimism thrive, tomorrow will surely be bright.
