Qi Zhao, heir of the Dadao family, was once a bodyguard to Emperor Xuantong. In the early years of the Republic of China, to avenge his father's murder, Qi Zhao returned to his hometown to revive the escort agency and establish a martial arts school, defending and promoting Chinese martial arts during the chaotic warlord era. He defeated challenges from Oriental warriors and Western boxers, earning the title "Escort King of Jiangnan". Little did he know that fate had other plans; among his two most trusted disciples, one was a member of the Japanese Black Dragon Society, trying every means to pull him into treason, while the other was a lifesaver with a grudge over a stolen wife. Even more surprisingly for Qi Zhao, the woman he loved was the beloved daughter of his father’s murderer. In the treacherous martial world, his fate fluctuated wildly, filled with crises. Qi Zhao adhered to the ancestral teachings of "benevolence, righteousness, propriety, wisdom, and faith," using his extraordinary martial arts to resolve crises repeatedly and uphold justice. Later, under the active guidance of the underground party, Qi Zhao secretly joined the Communist Party and formed a guerrilla unit against Japan. Just as the truth he searched for twenty years finally came to light, the July 7 Incident broke out, and the Japanese aggressors invaded China, while his father's murderer became an officer in the National Revolutionary Army heading to the front lines. For the sake of national hatred, Qi Zhao put aside his personal vendetta and joined the Communist guerrilla force, fighting alongside his father’s murderer against Japan, engaging in bloody battles
