"Home at South San Tiao" revolves around the intricate relationships between two families of merchants in South San Tiao. The male lead, Wang Zihan (played by Fu Dalong), inherits the family business only to face internal strife and external threats: his father, a Zhejiang businessman who moved to South San Tiao years earlier, suddenly passes away, leaving family members with their own agendas.
