The Prenuptial Agreement tells the stories of three couples from different age groups and their various relationships. Different individuals make different choices when it comes to life, career, love, and marriage; meanwhile, under the backdrop of the newly introduced marriage law, these choices are enriched, much like a numerical arrangement! This complicated situation, in turn, drives the plot forward! Zhang, the lawyer, and Xiao Linglong are a young couple from the post-'80s generation who are full of hope for love. As part of the younger generation, they have their own understanding of marriage. Especially Zhang, who has a profound understanding of the significance of the "New Marriage" law. Thus, they view marriage as a form of "sincere cooperation," where material wealth is merely the profit generated from this "cooperation." Therefore, if the "cooperation" ends, the assets will be divided based on the contributions made. Consequently, they established a prenuptial agreement before obtaining their marriage certificate, living a respectful "split expenses" lifestyle. However, the prenuptial agreement cannot prevent the temptations and conflicts in life; what they overlook is that "love requires persistence," and life requires endurance. Gao Han and Yang Xiaoting are a couple experiencing the "seven-year itch." As their marriage faces monotony and a bottleneck period, the assets accumulated through their joint entrepreneurial efforts and a prenuptial agreement bind them together. The prenuptial agreement concerns emotional loyalty, but the "division of property" is a cold reality... A conspiracy regarding “emotions and money” is brewing, with their hearts at stake. Xiao Yu Hai and Chu Zheng represent today's youth, viewing love as a warm blanket for mutual comfort, while they see marriage as a “shortcut” to changing their living conditions. Therefore, they dare not believe in love, face their own feelings, or have the courage to confront marriage... When they use all their efforts to obtain the fame and fortune they desire, they find that the changes in life have greatly exceeded their imagination and control.
