Song Qingling was an important historical figure with a wide influence worldwide in the last century. She dedicated her life to China's democratic revolution and was one of the founders of the People's Republic of China, a great patriot, democrat, pacifist, and communist warrior. Even in her childhood, she met the great pioneer of the democratic revolution, Sun Yat-sen, and took him as her idol, developing revolutionary aspirations. Upon returning from studying in the United States, she found the democratic revolution facing serious setbacks during its most difficult times. She resolutely abandoned everything to engage in the revolution, following Sun Yat-sen through thick and thin, fighting in numerous campaigns, and providing medical care to injured soldiers during the bloody wartime. She risked her own safety on two occasions to save Sun Yat-sen from peril and assisted him in writing revolutionary theories. When Sun Yat-sen faced repeated setbacks and felt lost about the future of the revolution, she timely assisted him in implementing new policies of alliance with the Soviet Union and the Communist Party, as well as supporting farmers and workers, thus advancing the development of China's democratic revolution. After Sun Yat-sen's death, following Chiang Kai-shek's "April 12" coup, she united the leftist members of the Kuomintang and fought fiercely against Chiang and his faction, completely breaking with the Song family that aligned with Chiang's reactionary government. She then visited the Soviet Union, lived in Berlin, and studied Marxism, recognizing that the only hope for the Chinese revolution lay with the Communist Party of China. Thereafter, she steadfastly followed the Communist Party, actively engaging in social activities under the white terror, helping to establish the "China Civil Rights Protection Alliance" and the "National Salvation Association," striving to rescue captured communists, patriots, and progressive youth. She upheld world peace and opposed fascist invasion wars. At a critical moment when Japanese forces heavily invaded, she called for mobilization across various sectors of society to resist Japan, and during the two battles in Shanghai, she raised military funds and materials, risking enemy fire to reach the front lines to comfort and assist anti-Japanese soldiers and the wounded, boosting morale. Additionally, she did a great deal of behind-the-scenes work to promote cooperation between the Kuomintang and the Communist Party against the Japanese invasion. After Shanghai fell, instead of retreating to a safer place, she rushed to Hong Kong to establish the "Chinese Defense Alliance," appealing to the international community and patriotic overseas Chinese to donate funds and materials. www.tctv.cc provided a large amount of military supplies and medical materials to support the Eighth Route Army and New Fourth Army. Especially during various revolutionary periods, she organized numerous fundraising and disaster relief efforts, helping millions of workers, victims, refugees, and orphans, and was widely praised as "Heaven has Guanyin, Earth has Song Qingling."
