In the early years of the Qing Dynasty, the young Fulin ascended to the throne, known as Shunzhi (played by Zhu Yongteng). After entering the palace, the daughter of the Mongolian Khan, Jinchang (played by Ni Ruisi), was titled a Gege and later betrothed by the Empress Dowager (played by Bo Hong) to the Eleventh Prince, Bomu Guoer (played by Shi Danjiang). Shunzhi was extremely upset as he had secretly loved Jinchang for a long time.
